Specialized Reflexology
I studied Clinical Reflexology in Scotland and have found reflexology beneficial for supporting clients with anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, PTSD, grief and stressful changes in their lives. I have also completed advanced reflexology training in oncology care, in order to focus on treating and supporting people living with cancer on their health journeys. For best results, regular treatments are recommended as part of an ongoing well-being protocol.

Reflexology is a well-being treatment that promotes deep relaxation and helps to improve quality of life for people living with cancer. It has been shown to provide relief from symptoms and side effects associated with conventional cancer treatments, such as stress, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, depression, inability to relax, pain, peripheral neuropathy, nausea and constipation.
Oncology Care reflexology is normally a 1-hour Foot Reflexology session. I can also work on the hands if the feet aren’t accessible. The initial appointment may take up to 1.5 hours as I get to know and complete a consultation with you.
Reflexology can also be a wonderful support for caregivers to help prevent caregiver burnout.

Reflexology helps calm the nervous system by gently reminding the body that it is safe. Many people living with chronic pain or fibromyalgia have nervous systems that are stuck in “high alert.” The body stays tense, sensitive, and reactive, even when there is no real danger. Rest becomes difficult, pain signals are amplified, and relaxation feels out of reach.
Through slow, rhythmic, and predictable touch on the feet, Reflexology offers the nervous system a different experience. The feet contain thousands of nerve endings that send messages directly to the brain. When these messages are steady and non-threatening, the body can begin to soften. Breathing deepens, muscles relax, and pain sensitivity often decreases.
Reflexology is not about forcing change. It is about creating a sense of safety so the nervous system can shift out of survival mode and return to balance, rest, and natural healing.

Foot reflexology is beneficial for people living with diabetes as it helps to improve circulation and flexibility in the feet. It may help to reduce peripheral neuropathy in the feet by having regular treatments.
If you spend long hours on your feet, reflexology can help relieve tired, aching feet while improving circulation. Regular treatments support recovery, reduce tension, and leave your feet feeling lighter and more comfortable.
Since reflexology is a deeply relaxing and balancing treatment, it supports women going through peri-menopause and menopause, as it promotes a sense of wellbeing, releases tension, improves mood and sleep.
In cases where a client suffers from PTSD, it is possible to do a shorter massage while you remain fully clothed.
Balancing Massage
I use light pressure touch techniques that aim to down-regulate your nervous system and move you from the ‘fight, flight or freeze’ mode into the ‘rest and digest’ state.
We are living in an age where we are constantly aware of our own and other peoples’ stress and trauma. Sometimes we can get stuck in the fight, flight or freeze response where our nervous system remains on high alert. Studies have shown the benefits of human touch and that it communicates directly to our nervous system. This type of massage soothes the nervous system and creates a safe, relaxed environment where the body can release stress and trauma, moving into the state of rest and digest and becoming more resilient. Calm and comforting touch has been proven to:
Reduce your stress and anxiety levels by consistently reducing both cortisol and adrenalin
Improve sleeping patterns
Reduced symptoms of PTSD
Reducing aches and pains, as well as relief from chronic medical conditions
Strengthen your immune system as touch increases our production of the all-important killer T-cells
Improve your clarity of thinking and creativity by soothing the ‘fight or flight’ centre within the brain and thus restoring normal blood circulation to all areas of the brain
Move you into a greater state of health and well-being
Stroking the body gently stimulates the C-Tactile afferent nerves which have the ability to replace stress/trauma signals with pleasure signals in the limbic brain.
The pressure of touch reduces stress and increases the release of the ‘feel good’ endorphins of serotonin, oxytocin and dopamine. This rush of calming and resilience building endorphins can actually be felt as ‘wooziness’ during the massage.
How does Touch do this?
Touch accesses the limbic area of the brain directly, just like the sense of smell. This means that the soothing signals of touch are impacting directly on the very area of the brain where our trauma is stored.
Touch induces a delta wave brain state, creating the right environment for the trauma receptors in the limbic brain to literally dissolve.

As a qualified organic skincare formulator with many years of working experience in the medicinal herb and natural health arena, I am able to forage, grow and process many of the herbal ingredients in my products. This allows me to create high-quality products that are as unique and local as we are!
I follow a holistic approach to skincare which means I look at the whole person (lifestyle, diet, sleep, exercise, stress management etc). I enjoy working with people suffering from acne, scarring, eczema or rosacea.
Artisan Skincare Products
I truly love creating skincare products in my artisan apothecary on our farm. As a qualified organic skincare formulator with years of experience in medicinal herbs, I take great care in foraging and growing many of the herbs I use, following organic principles. With my husband’s support as an organic farming consultant, we ensure everything is done sustainably and with love.
Each Vibrant Harmonies product is handmade by me in small batches, allowing me to focus on quality and attention to detail. I carefully select organic, cold-pressed oils and minimally processed, GMO-free ingredients to ensure your skin gets the full benefit of nature’s goodness. Plus, I package everything in eco-friendly materials, staying true to my values of nurturing both your skin and the planet.
My approach to skincare is holistic—I look at the whole picture, including lifestyle, diet, and well-being. I believe our bodies are always seeking balance, and my goal is to support that natural process. Some of my suggestions, like oil-free night care, may surprise you, but I’ve seen it make a real difference. I invite you to experience the care, warmth, and dedication that go into each product I create.
